Tourism - Maurice Utrillo (1883-1955) after - France, Maurice Utrillo, Reims Cathedral. Circa 1955. Printer, Braun, Paris. 99x62cm. Original poster, lithograph and offset, not canvas-backed. Condition A-, a trace of crease in the upper right corner.
The painting photographed by Braun was in the collection of Professor Hadorn in Bern at the time this poster was issued. The original painting was exhibited in Paris at the Orangerie des Tuileries in 1967, No.215 [Pétridès, I, 113], and no doubt this poster was printed to echo the success of the event.
