Knight's insignia of the Royal Order of Cambodia, instituted by King Norodom I and widely awarded during the period of the French protectorate in Indochina. Silver-plated decoration forming an eight-point chased star, suspended from a royal crown. In the centre, a circular openwork medallion decorated with a stylised motif inspired by Khmer iconography, surrounded by a red enamelled ring. White moiré ribbon edged with wide orange stripes. Similar reverse. Good condition, old ribbon with traces of use.
