Colonial medal with clasps. Colonial medal in silver (or silver-plated metal), awarded for services in France's overseas campaigns. On the right, a helmeted effigy of the French Republic facing left, with the legend "République Française". On the reverse, a globe surrounded by a military trophy with the inscription "Médaille Coloniale". Moiré silk ribbon with blue and white vertical stripes, adorned with three clasps: "INDOCHINE FREE FRENCH AFRICA"" TUNISIE 1942-43" Mounted with foliate hoop. Good overall condition, wear from use, old ribbon with traces of folding and stitching, coherent set. Period: 20th century.
