Railwaymen's medal. French Republic. A silver metal (or silver bronze) medal awarded to staff of the French railways. On the right, a stylised railway wheel surrounded by the legend: On the right, a stylised railway wheel surrounded by the legend: "Médaille des Cheminots - R.F.", with central SNCF emblem. On the reverse, a hand holding a tool, inscribed: "Mᵉ J. Colombani - 1942", in an industrial setting evoking railway work. Tricolour ribbon with vertical blue, white and red stripes.
