Officer's insignia of the Legion of Honour with five white enamelled double branches, topped by balls, surrounded by green enamelled oak and laurel wreaths. Obverse: central medallion bearing the effigy of the Republic, encircled by the legend "République Française". Reverse: inscription "Honneur et Patrie" with tricolour flags.
