French commemorative medal for the 1939-1945 war, with three clasps. Hexagonal bronze medal awarded to soldiers who took part in operations during the Second World War. Obverse: Gallic cockerel with outstretched wings in front of a Lorraine cross, resting on a broken chain. Reverse: inscription "République Française - Guerre 1939-1945". Light blue moiré silk ribbon with green and red piping, decorated with central red chevrons. Three metal clasps: "LIBERATION" "FRANCE FRANCE""" GERMANY".
