Tuareg dagger, Sahara, 20th century. A traditional Tuareg dagger from the Saharan region, with a straight, double-edged steel blade with a central rib decorated with engraved geometric designs. It is fitted with a finely worked handle made of wood and metal elements, with ringed decoration, ending in a characteristic turned pommel.
