Description
Tuareg dagger, Sahara, 20th century. Elegant Saharan dagger of the Tuareg type, with a straight, narrow, tapering steel blade of flat cross-section. The leather scabbard is covered in the same braided decoration, with a leather strap pompom at the base, typical of Tuareg craftsmanship. A homogeneous set, typical of 20th century Saharan production, combining utilitarian function and decorative quality. Total length: 61 cm. Good condition.
