Description
Hunting dagger, Europe, late 19th - early 20th century. Hunting-style dagger with a broad, sturdy straight steel blade and thick back. The frame consists of a turned wooden handle decorated with rings, finished with a pommel made of superimposed elements. Characteristically shaped iron guard with curved quillons to protect the hand. This model is representative of European production in the late 19th - early 20th century, and was intended for utility or hunting purposes. Blade length 19 cm. Used condition.
