Carved exotic wood cane with figurative decoration of a seated African figure. The knob is formed by a ring extended by a carving representing a figure sitting on a stool, in a resting attitude, with stylised features. The shaft features engraved and openwork decoration in the middle section, with geometric and ethnic motifs, extending to a lower section decorated with motifs evoking animal fur. African-inspired craftsmanship, probably 20th century. The wood has a patina and is beautifully decorated. Good overall condition, with minor wear and tear.
