French Air Force officer's regulation dagger, model 1934. Straight double-edged blade with diamond-shaped cross-section, ending in a point. Gilt metal frame with straight guard. Gilt metal pommel. Braided lanyard with tassel. Sheathed brass scabbard, missing central hoop. Model adopted in 1934 for the creation of the French Air Force, worn by officers in ceremonial dress. Blade length: 26.9 cm Overall weapon length: 39.5 cm. Fairly good condition.
