Description
Tuareg type dagger, North Africa, 20th century. Dagger with a straight steel blade, 30 cm long, with a flat section. It is fitted with a brass guard and a turned wooden handle ending in a flared pommel. It is preserved in its leather scabbard, richly decorated with engraved geometric motifs typical of Saharan craftsmanship, and fitted with a suspension ring. Traditional North African work, probably Tuareg, from the 20th century. Used condition. Traces of oxidation on the blade, wear and patina on the leather.
