Description
Flintlock rifle, composite or conversion work, 18th - early 19th century. Single-shot flintlock rifle, long steel barrel, wooden frame. Incomplete flintlock lock, with missing parts (hammer in particular), non-functional mechanism. Simple wooden stock with no particular decoration and old patina. Metal iron fittings. The barrel is held in place by ferrules, and there is a ferrule under the barrel (to be confirmed according to condition). Rustic in appearance, possibly a reworked antique rifle or a European-inspired homemade rifle. Total length: 127 cm. Very deteriorated condition, lock incomplete, significant oxidation, wear and knocks to the wood, possible missing parts and old restorations. Operation not guaranteed. Sold as is, for parts or restoration. Category D weapon.
