Description
Swordfish" diving knife, mid 20th century. Mid 20th century (circa 1950-1970). Antique diving knife, known as the "Espadon" model, intended for use by scuba divers or professional divers. Light alloy handle (aluminium type) covered with partially preserved original yellow paint, with a marked transverse guard providing an excellent grip, even when wearing gloves. Pierced pommel with safety cord. Utility-shaped steel blade with rounded tip, showing traces of surface oxidation. Original stitched and riveted leather scabbard, with patina of use, complete. Homogeneous and authentic set, typical of diving equipment from the 1950s-1970s. Total length: 28 cm, blade length: 14.5 cm. Wear and tear, surface oxidation, paintwork incomplete, scabbard worn but preserved.
