Description
Single shot muzzle loading percussion rifle. Octagonal then round barrel in bronzed steel, of good length, equipped with a ramrod under barrel. Lateral percussion lock, functional external hammer. Walnut frame, cheek stock with partial checkering at the grip, traces of use and small dents visible. Simple metal fittings, trigger under brass trigger guard. Handmade or workshop made, probably 19th century. Barrel length 960 mm, overall approximately 1380 mm. Condition: slight oxidation, wear and marks on the wood, ramrod present. Mechanism to be revised. Category D weapon.
