Colt Navy 1851 percussion revolver, modern Italian make, reproduction muzzle-loading black powder, probably by Pietta, with brass frame and bronzed octagonal barrel. Barrel engraved with a naval scene, loading lever under the barrel, varnished walnut inserts. Visible Italian proof markings and number A9890. 36 calibre. Barrel: 6 shots Overall length: 33 cm. Barrel length: 19 cm. Condition: good condition, tanning quite present, slight wear and fine scratches from use on the cylinder. Mechanism appears to be functional subject to closer examination.
