Browning Auto-5 semi-automatic rifle, long barrel recoil system designed by John Moses Browning, manufactured by the Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. Chambered in 12/70 calibre, with semi-automatic repetition by borrowing the recoil. 610 mm smoothbore barrel with ventilated band and sights. Breechcase in bronzed steel, bearing the maker's markings. Functional mechanism (to be checked). Varnished walnut frame, finely checkered pistol grip and stock, showing signs of use.
