Description
Paul JACQUET (1883-1968). An ovoid vase with a narrowed neck, in glazed ceramic, decorated with stylised flowers in blue and ochre polka dots, linked by beige foliage forming a frieze, on a metallic black ground. Signed and monogrammed JP under the base. Circa 1930. Height: 22 cm (very good condition) Paul Jacquet was a leading ceramist from Annecy in the 1930s, known for his work with Primavera, Francis Jourdain and UAM artists such as René Herbst.
