Paul JACQUET (1883-1968). Set of four glazed earthenware ceramics, comprising : - a deep dish decorated with blue polka dots and yellow crosses on a dark blue background. Signed and monogrammed under the base. Diameter: 27 cm - Height: 6.5 cm (discreet chips) - A baluster vase with radiating decoration of yellow and orange polka dots on a light blue background. Monogrammed under the base. H.: 16.5 cm (worn decoration on the neck and a scratch on the side) - A pot holder decorated with yellow polka dots and a light blue frieze on a dark blue background. Monogrammed under the base. Height: 16 cm (chips under the base) - A pot holder decorated with yellow dots and dark blue latticework in a frieze on a light blue background. Monogrammed under the base. Height: 15 cm (wear to the neck of the decoration) Paul Jacquet was a leading ceramist from Annecy in the 1930s, known for his work with Primavera, Francis Jourdain and UAM artists such as René Herbst.
