Ernest Filliard (1868-1933) was a watercolourist from Chambéry who trained with Benoît Molin and was a friend of the painter François Cachoud. Known for his Savoy landscapes and floral compositions, he exhibited in Chambéry from his youth and received the Prix Guy from the Académie de Savoie in 1893 and 1901.
