Based on a design by Salvador DALI (1904–1989) for Schirnding, Bavaria, a white porcelain tableware set with polychrome decoration, ‘Sirenas peinadas con coral y hormiga’ design from 1977, comprising approximately 120 pieces, each signed within the decoration. Limited edition of 1,000 pieces, no. 587, in its original leather-lined, compartmentalised trunk with a domed lid. The trunk shows signs of wear; the jug and the lid of the soup tureen are missing. The set comprises 4 trays; fourth tray: 24 plates, diameter 23.5 cm; 12 plates, diameter 18.5 cm; 12 soup plates, diameter 19 cm; 12 bowls, diameter 14 cm, 24 saucers, diam. 13.5 and 12.8 cm; third tier: 6 serving dishes; second tier: 2 dishes, 12 coffee cups and a milk jug; first tier: 12 tea cups, sugar bowl, milk jug, display stand, deep dish, ashtray, soup tureen (lid missing) and a matching lid; the set is in very good condition.
