Description
Recognition Model – USS ENTERPRISE
Metal identification and recognition model of the famous aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, manufactured by H.A. Framburg & Co in Chicago, dated December 1944.
These models, intended for the training of aircrew, formed part of various series. They were carried on board US Navy ships and used during training sessions with intelligence officers. They were housed in wooden carrying cases of the same colour, with notches allowing each model to be slotted into place.
Three dents on the rear and underside of the wooden base (not visible when the item is displayed on a shelf).
