A Louis XVI-style cylinder desk in moulded natural wood and cherry wood veneer, resting on four tapered legs. The front opens via a slatted cylinder to reveal an architecturally designed interior comprising drawers, compartments and a central section with a roller shutter. Top covered in black leather (added later). The lower section features two rows of drawers framed by geometric marquetry bands. The keyholes and drop handles are in bronze. Rounded, veneered side panels and tapered fluted legs. – 101.5 x 99 x 55 cm – The cylinder does not roll out fully; slight woodworm damage to the legs; wormholes; a small pendant pull handle is missing
