MIRÓ / MAEGHT FOUNDATION / LA CLACA. Double-sided invitation card for the opening of the Miró exhibition at the Maeght Foundation, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, 7 July 1979, and for the performances of *Mori el Merma* by Joan Baixas, a production by La Claca designed and illustrated by Joan Miró, staged from 8 to 21 July 1979. The card is illustrated in colour with three drawings by Miró. A particularly interesting ephemera, linking both the exhibition ‘Joan Miró: paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics, 1956–1979 at the Maeght Foundation and the staging of the production *Mori el Merma*, created by Joan Baixas with the La Claca theatre company, in a version specially designed for the Maeght Foundation. A burlesque and political parade of large masked and puppet-like figures, *Mori el Merma* transposes Miró’s world onto the stage, at the crossroads of theatre, painting and protest.
