NIMIER, Roger (1925–1962). Signed typewritten letter to Georges Pernoud (Match, 51 rue Pierre Charron, Paris 8th arrondissement). Paris, 6 December 1955; 1 page, folio size (21 x 27 cm), on ‘Le Nouveau Femina’ letterhead. Autograph signature in blue ink. An interesting letter concerning a book by Georges Pernoud*, editor-in-chief of Paris Match, devoted to music. Nimier announces that he will have a table reproduced in the next issue of *Femina* — “the others are too complicated” — and that a review will also appear in *Elle*. He praises an “excellent collection that puts the best of journalism at the service of culture”. * He should not be confused with his nephew and namesake Georges Pernoud, a journalist and presenter, creator of the programme *Thalassa*.
