In-8, publisher’s binding in red half-shagreen, with 5 panels, 4 of which are decorated with a scattering of floral motifs, gilt edges, white moiré endpapers - 370 pp., 1 frontispiece and 23 plates out of text by Riou and Montaut. At the end, 1 folio of the Hetzel catalogue and a descriptive catalogue of 32 pp., 27 of which are illustrated. A small marginal loss of paper (p. 2), not affecting the text.
