Verne, Jules. – Robur the Conqueror – A Lottery Ticket. Bibliothèque d’Éducation et de Récréation, J. Hetzel & Co. ‘DF’ catalogue, 1886–1887. ‘Two Elephants’ board binding, lilac. A copy of the third type featuring the extremely rare variant 2: ‘Le billet de loterie’ (on the spine) instead of ‘Un billet de loterie’ and an inversion of the titles on the front cover. Jauzac reported only one known copy, and that was in red. Slightly misaligned at the title. Cardboard cover slightly tarnished, spine faded, bleaching on the spine, tail cap worn, 3 corners pierced. Condition: 6/10 – Rarity: Unclassified.
