A collection of around 30 modern alphabet books in French or English created by painters or photographers (post-1960). Overall condition: 9/10 – Rarity: 3/5 Including: - Martin, Etienne. - *Abécédaire et autres lieux*. Geneva, Editions Claude Givaudan, 1967. A book-object presented in a square, screen-printed cardboard box containing 62 square sheets (21 x 21 cm). First edition printed in a run of 1,204 copies (no. 674/1,100). - Adler, Jérémie. - The electric alphabet. Alphabox, 1996. Hradec Králové (Czech Republic), Alphabox Press, 1996. Square format 21.5 x 20.5 cm, loose-leaf in a titled cover and publisher’s slipcase. Complete with 26 engravings by Jiri Sindler (1 frontispiece and 26 illustrations accompanying the texts). Printed in an edition of 60 copies (no. 27), signed in pencil by the author and the engraver. - Kaliardos, J. – Gan, Stephen – Dean, Cecilia. – Visionaire the alphabet.
