(Part Two, including the title page). Contemporary handwritten notes on the title page, including an ‘ex-libris’ reading ‘Masuher’ and the signature of J. Cousin on the last leaf (The Elder, The Younger, or…?) with the comment: “Johan Cousin may possess me, govern me and do with me as he pleases. J. Cousin”. Rare commentaries by Vincent de La Loupe, dedicated to Jacob Broll, Archbishop of Arles, on magistrates and governors, constituting the first precise description of the duties of the various officers of the kingdom – (Brunet III – 779).
