No place of publication [Paris, Coustelier], 1745. 12mo, bound in full fawn calfskin, with the covers decorated with a triple gilt fillet, plain gilt spine, title label, fillet on the edges, roulette on the chases, gilt edges. Reprint of the second edition published by Coustelier in 1731 (See Cohen 652) – Upper joint partly split, 2 corners pierced, scuffs and scratches on the covers – [5 ff., title in red and black, colophon, preface], 159 pp., XX pp. of notes. Illustrated with a fine allegorical frontispiece, a title vignette, 4 headbands depicting playing cupids, 8 plates out of the text by Scotin, 4 of which are signed, and 4 tailpieces.
