Printed in a run of 1,630 copies; this is one of 100 on Arches laid paper (no. 130). First edition, with a preface by Ramon Gomez de La Serna translated by Jean Cassou, bringing together 41 previously unpublished poems written between 1895 and 1918, followed by studies devoted to painters (Le Douanier Rousseau, Matisse, Picasso, Van Dongen, etc.) and writers (Jean Royère, Paul Fort, Alfred Jarry).
