Rieder et Cie, 1925 - In-12, 211 pp. One of 300 copies printed on Montgolfier-style Holland paper (no. 56). This autobiographical account by the author, who was committed to La Salpêtrière psychiatric hospital, is set in the town of Bourg-La-Reine. 2/ - Chalet 1. – Paris, F. Rieder et Cie, 1926 – in-12, 214 pp. One of 300 copies printed on Lafuma pure-fibre vellum from Voiron (no. 143). Still in the vein of such a simple man, these are poetic snapshots of everyday life in the asylum. 3/ - Délires. Paris, A La Jeune Parque, 1927 – In-8, 151 pp. A work comprising two parts: ‘Des mots, drame cérébral’, which addresses the issue of writing, and ‘Eve et Kiki, drame familial’, the story of a child’s runaway adventure told in the style of a fable. One of 1,000 copies printed on white vellum (no. 384). 4/ - Le Perce-oreille du Luxembourg. Paris, Les Éditions Rieder, 1928 – In-12, 270 pp., uncut. One of 150 copies printed on Lafuma pure-fibre vellum from Voiron (no. 27). The autobiography of a young man who has just been confined to an asylum. How can he untangle the web of anxieties, scruples and vertigo that have led him to where he now finds himself? 5/ - *Roseau*. Paris, Les Éditions Rieder, 1932 – In-12, 241 pp. One of the 180 copies on Lafuma alfa mousse put on the market (no. 61). The book recounts the school days of one of Baillon’s ‘doubles’, during which he discovers fear, vice and scruples. In many respects, this book reads like a scathing indictment of a rigid and harsh education system, a system that turned Baillon into a ‘nervous wreck’, a ‘hospital writer’. 6/ - *La Dupe*. Brussels, La Renaissance du Livre, 1944. In-8, 190 pp. One of 100 copies printed on bibliophile vellum (no. 31), following the 26-page *Hollande* edition. An unfinished sequel to the third volume of the story of Daniel Haudoin (I – Le Neveu de Mlle Autorité; II – Roseau), as the author died before the novel could be finalised.
