1/ - Misérable miracle (La Mescaline). Monaco, Éditions du Rocher, 1956. In-4, paperback with printed cover and triple-colour border on the front cover – covers sun-faded, small tears to the head and foot – [3 ff.], 122 pp., [1 f.], illustrated with 48 plates in facsimile of Michaux’s handwriting whilst under the influence of mescaline (a hallucinogenic drug). First edition printed in a run of 1,685 copies; this one is one of the 1,500 printed on white Aussédat Roto paper (no. 636).
2/ - *L’Infini turbulent*. Paris, Mercure de France, 1957. In-8, paperback with a red-lettered title on the cover – sun-faded cover with foxing, small tear on the back cover – 153 pp. Illustrated with 8 plates, out of text. Contains: 1/- The effects of mescaline. 2/ The account of ‘eight experiments’ under the influence of mescaline. 3/ - The mescaline realm and neighbouring realms. First edition printed in a run of 1,550 copies; this copy is one of the 1,500 printed on white helium-coated vellum from the Libert paper mills (no. 772).
