A set of three books illustrated by Gianni Bertini. 1/ - Philippe, Jean-Loup - Bertini. - “O”. No place, Éditions du Castel d’Eau, 1992. In-4, loose-leaf format with a colour-illustrated, bound cover – [20 ff.]. Illustrated with 5 original full-page compositions by Bertini, hand-printed using screen-printing (1 single-page, 1 double-page and 3 double-page with pop-ups). The text of the book was entirely hand-composed using screen prints in various colours at the Atelier del Arco in Paris. Printed in a run of 110 copies on Arches vellum; this is one of the 100 copies following the XII frontispieces with plates (no. 36). 2/ - Solier, René de. - Bertini. n.p. [the author and the illustrator], 1963. A book produced to mark Bertini’s exhibition at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels in May 1963. Square 12mo, stapled, with a printed, embossed cover – [1 title leaf], 15 pp., [5 pp., Bibliography, composition, completion and colophon]. Illustrated with an original engraving signed and numbered by the artist (16/16). Printed in a run of 976 copies; this is one of the 16 deluxe copies complete with its original engraving. 3/ - Dufrêne, François - Bertini. - Recitativo all’italiana. Graphic orchestration by Gianni Bertini. Lecco (Italy), Edizione dell’Albero Poeta, 1970. In-12, paperback with a reprinted cover – [12 ff.]. Illustrated with 8 colour graphic compositions by Bertini, 6 of which are full-page. Printed in an edition of 1,000 (no. 472).
