[Ain] FONVILLE (Horace). Album of 10 etchings. S.l.n.d. (ca. 1880). One folio volume, contemporary half morocco. Rubbing, two corners damaged, partial discoloration of the second plate, damaged headpieces, scattered foxing. Very rare album consisting of an engraved title and 10 hors-texte etchings mounted on mitre, depicting landscapes of the Ain: Pont de Bellignat, surroundings of Lhuis, mills near Dortan, view taken near Neuville-sur-Ain, valley of the Ange on the south side, banks of the Ange near Oyonnax, Pont de Bellignat, Près le Pont de Bellignat on the south side, Chemin des Carrières, landscape not located. Autograph letter from Horace Fonville to Monsieur Francisque Rive, deputy for the Ain.
