Beautiful edition decorated with 122 wood engravings by ARISTIDE MAILLOL. The last woodcuts were engraved by other artists shortly before Maillol's death in 1944. Texts in Latin with an accompanying French translation printed in specially recast 15th-century lead type.
Limited edition of 750 numbered copies on chemically-free, high-fibre pure hemp and linen paper created for this edition.
