Description
IRIBE (Paul), MONTORGUEIL (G.) and BENJAMIN (René). Blanc et Rouge (Sleeping Beauty). - Rose et Noir (Le Mauvais génie) - Bleu Blanc Rouge (France). Set of three booklets in praise of the wines of France published by Établissements Nicolas. Paris, Imprimerie Draeger, 1930-1932. 3 pamphlets in-4 stapled, in post cardboard slipcase with painted tricolour motif on each cover, title printed on spine.
Collection of three famous advertising brochures illustrated by PAUL IRIBE and printed by Draeger for the "Nicolas" company. The illustrations include 10 full-page compositions in the first volume, 9 full-page compositions in pink and black in the second, and 6 compositions (including 4 fold-outs and one in colour) in the last.
The series also contains: "Le service des vins doit être une symphonie" (4 pp. in-8, ill. by Ch. Martin) and the questionnaire in a filled sheet in a bluish envelope: "Un repas bien conçu est comme une symphonie bien ordonnée" (A well-designed meal is like a well-ordered symphony).
Slight rubbing to the edges, otherwise a very fine copy in a quality slipcase, perfectly integrated with the text of the book.
