Extremely rare work which would have earned the bookseller Mars, who sold it, to be executed (according to a handwritten note by the author on the copy he offered to the Bibliothèque municipale de Lyon in 1808).
A very precious copy since it is complete with the title [with the author's warning on the verso, signed "G., Citoyen de Lyon"] which is almost always missing from this book, which led many of its owners directly to Roanne prison. Enriched with an engraving taken from the Revue de Paris placed in the frontispiece titled "emprisonnemens arbitraires".
According to Chelle, the similar copy in the Coste library was "unique".
