POINCARÉ (Raymond). La Marseillaise. Speech given on 14 July 1915 at the transfer of the ashes of C.-J. Rouget de Lisle. Historical note by Jérôme Doucet. Paris, "Les Paroles Immortelles", 1916. One volume in-8, morocco and vellum with tricoloured bands, gilt head, covers and spine preserved (binding by René KIEFFER). 26 pp, (2) facsimile pages of the original edition and of Rouget de Lisle's manuscript. Paper slightly browned, scattered brown spots.
Illustrations by O.D.V. Guillonnet wood-engraved by E. Deloche. Justified copy on papier à la forme.
Enriched with the handwritten signature of Raymond Poincaré and a letter from the Presidency of the Council specifying the signature of this copy.
