[Woodcock] REVEILHAC (Paul). Woodcock. Illustrations by Jules Haro. Evreux, imprimerie de Hérissey, 1884. One volume in-12, red half-chagrin, spine with 5 ornate nerves. 226 pp. Spellbinding, head soiled, trace of moisture in upper margin of frontispiece, serpente and title page.
First edition with etched frontispiece and numerous small vignettes in the text. Thiébaud, 774-775 ("very rare").
The edition was limited to 200 numbered copies, of which only 30 were sold. This is one of 180 copies on tinted paper, with an autograph letter from the author to Georges Fremin du Sartel.
