Volumes 2 to 6, 8, 10, 11 to 30, 32, 34 to 36, 38 to 50, 57 to 59. One cover missing; the set is in good condition.
The author of *Nostradamus*, Eugène Bareste, in undertaking this almanac, set out to create a true almanac, that is to say, one that would instruct, please and entertain. Of particular note are, amongst other things, the explanation of the Apocalypse given in 1841, Napoleon and the prophecies, the algebraic prophecies, the phrenological museum, etc.
This almanac very quickly became a huge success, leading to the creation of the *Almanach Astrologique* and the *Almanach Lunatique*, intended to compete with it. (Carteret-2271)
