(Paris City Council) Albert Mansuy (1831–after 1871) Ruins of Paris, 4 albumen prints, all mounted on card, photographer’s blue stamp in the bottom right-hand corner, all titled in pencil, from the collection of Hans Furstenberg (Lugt-3615), stamp on the reverse of the cards (40/31 cm), and Dr Louis Bretonniere. -Interior of the Tuileries, Pavillon de l’Horloge, 21/15.5 cm. -The Tuileries, Cour de l’Orangerie, 15.5/21 cm. -Hôtel de Ville, inner courtyard, 21/15.5 cm. -Hôtel de Ville after the fire, 15.5/21 cm. The set is in fine condition. Good provenance. Official photographer for the City of Paris, specialising in photographic reproductions of antique and modern works of art, as well as industrial products.
