Quarto, aubergine-coloured coarse-grained half-morocco with corner pieces, spine with four raised bands, gilt head, untrimmed, illustrated cover and spine preserved. 67 pp., 15 illustrations, including 8 full-page ones. Spine sun-faded. An illustrated edition featuring powerful compositions by Raphaël Freida (1877–1942), printed as heliogravures, including the colour cover. Limited edition of 475 copies; this is one of the 400 numbered on Rives vellum (no. 465). Interior in perfect condition.
