A combination of two maps. - A map of European Turkey (Anatolia, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, etc.) engraved on copper (12.5 x 14.5 cm), hand-coloured on laid paper (13 x 14 cm), mounted on a white Marie-Louise mount (17 x 25 cm) decorated with a black marker border, c. 1750. The Marie-Louise mount is slightly warped. - A map of the island of Cyprus on steel (22.5 x 33.5 cm) published by Didot, c. 1850–1900. Margins slightly browned and the left margin slightly frayed; two vertical creases. A charming collection of geographical maps.
