Third series [1902]. 4 in-4 leaves, hand-bound, with handwritten annotations in the right-hand margin of 4 printed in-12 pages; the whole mounted on tabs in a white half-box Bradel binding, with a plain spine bearing the title in black lettering running lengthwise and covers of paper featuring a repeating floral pattern. Binding by Didier Montécot. Proof richly annotated by Charles Péguy in black ink with text and typographical corrections, with placement instructions and folio numbering in blue pencil and editorial instructions: “set in 8 well-laid-out pages / running title / standard justification / standard format / paginate from 1 to 8”. This is a presentation of the booklets from the third series published in 1902 (Jean Jaurès, Tolstoy, Romain Rolland, the Tharaud brothers, Anatole France, etc.)...
