Bindings signed ‘Flammarion’. 822, 749 and 740 pp., with a great many illustrations in black and white and in colour. Some normal wear, mainly to the edges; a few foxing spots on the first few leaves of volume II. New edition. Revised, expanded and enriched with over 2,200 engravings based on ancient models.
