BERNANOS, Georges. Signed autograph letter addressed to [Abel Bonnard]. Two and a half pages, in-12 format, on mourning paper (180 x 138 mm). “Sanctuaire de La Salette” (Isère), 29 July 1928. Marginal tears, but the text is unaffected. Bernanos, on a pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Notre-Dame de La Salette, is continuing to write *La Joie* in “this ethereal solitude”.
