In-12, half-maroquin in a coarse-grained teal blue with corner caps, spine with four raised bands, gilt head, untrimmed, covers and spine preserved. Inaugural address delivered on 19 May 1932 when General Weygand was elected to the Académie Française to succeed Marshal Joffre. Limited edition. One of 20 numbered first-edition copies on Japanese paper. A copy with full margins in excellent condition.
