Folio size, pine-green half-basane, smooth spine with gilt title running lengthwise and the words ‘Ecole du génie maritime’ at the foot. Spine rubbed and faded, margins slightly foxed. Technical atlas comprising 95 plates (including four duplicates) from this study devoted to locomotives (first volume of Part Nine). On the title page, stamp of the École du génie maritime.
