A fine copy on Arches paper, well bound. Paris, A. and F. Ferroud, 1911. 4 in-12 volumes, each bound in half Parma morocco with corner pieces, four-ribbed spine, gilt head, untrimmed, covers and spine preserved. VIII – 220, 191, 217 and 243 pages, numerous engravings. Spines slightly faded, more so on the last volume. A deluxe edition illustrated with 37 compositions by Frédéric Bourdin, etched by Omer Bouchery, including 4 frontispieces, one repeated title vignette, 8 within the text and 24 plates at the end of the volume. Print run limited to 1,000 copies; this is one of the 870 numbered copies on Arches vellum (no. 846). A delightful set in a well-made binding.
